What this site is
meritor.online publishes plain-language explanations of how mobile games actually work — their mechanics, their progression systems and, just as importantly, their business models. The aim is that someone can read a page here, understand what they would be signing up for, and decide for themselves whether to install something. That decision includes deciding not to.
We are a small independent publisher. We are not a news outlet, not a review aggregator, and not connected to any game studio.
Who runs it
The site is published by Chobichous s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic (company number 24626813, VAT CZ24626813), at Aubrechtové 3111/10, Záběhlice, 106 00 Praha 10, Czech Republic. The responsible editor, and the author of the articles, is Thomas Davis. Full details are on the legal notice, and you can reach us on the contact page.
How we pay for it
Through advertising, in the form of affiliate commission on links that are clearly labelled “partner link”. Readers pay nothing and see no paywall. We do not run display ads, we do not sell data — we hold none to sell — and we do not accept payment to change a verdict. The advertising disclosure explains the mechanics, and the editorial policy sets out the separation between the commercial side and the editorial side.
How the site is built
Deliberately plainly, and for a reason that matters to you:
- No cookies and no tracking. Nothing is stored in your browser. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. You can verify this in your browser’s developer tools in under a minute — the cookie policy walks you through it.
- No third-party requests. Every byte comes from this domain. No Google Fonts, no CDN, no remote images, no embedded video, no social widgets.
- System fonts. Text uses the fonts already on your device, which is why pages load quickly and why no font server learns that you visited.
- One small script. About forty lines, readable at /js/app.js, doing nothing but handling the outgoing partner link correctly.
- Original illustrations. Every diagram on the site is an original SVG drawn for it. We use no product screenshots and no stock photography.
What we will not do
No invented reader testimonials. No fabricated star ratings. No countdown timers or manufactured urgency. No promises of guaranteed results. No made-up statistics. These are not aspirations; they are listed as commitments in the editorial policy, with the reasoning behind each one.
Independence from the brands we write about
RAID: Shadow Legends and Plarium are trademarks of their respective owners. This website is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Plarium Global Ltd. or any of its group companies. Where our description of a game diverges from the publisher’s own current information, the publisher is right and we are out of date.
